911 was a day i wont soon forget, not only the plane crash here, or in Washington, but the Twin Towers. My senior class went against all and decided our senior trip would consist of a day in New York and a day in Washington. The most memorable thing of my whole trip to New York was being at the top on the observation deck of the tower seeing the Statue of Liberty. There is nothing in this world that would give you a rush like that. It was absolutely beautiful! And sitting here watching it fall, knowing there are people who will never get to experience that rush is heartbreaking. We not only lost a huge amount of lives, but a very beautiful part of New York. The skyline looks so different now. And it will never be the same. When i showed my pics to the lil men, we had talked so many times about a day trip to New York so they could see "the world" from the top. Thats how they see the pics i took from there. They say you can see the world. But now they will never get to see it except for the few pictures i have.

It just reminds me so much of when i used to work on the 38th floor of the Security Pacific building that had 43 floors in all...
it over looked the Arco Twin Towers in down town L.A.....
i was always paranoid of earth quakes!

How come these buildings cant be supplied with some type of fast opening parachute...
For at least a chance at falling to safety?????? ... at least a chance ..
